Christchurch’s
Child Haematology
Oncology Centre
We support access to clinical trials for children and young people with rare cancers, particularly brain cancers.
Our funding helps Christchurch’s Child Haematology Oncology Centre (CHOC) open and continue trials, or access trials through Starship, covering costs beyond standard care where trial funding falls short. Working
with Dr Andrew Dodgshun, the Clinical Director of CHOC,
we support this mahi so young people in Aotearoa can access treatment options comparable to those available to young people in Australia and internationally.
Our second five-year commitment began in April 2025, taking our support to 10 years once the agreement
is complete.
