What happens to the information you give us through the Get in touch form, and how to see or correct it.

Who we are

The Get in touch form is run by Wayne Francis Foundation (the Wayne Francis Charitable Trust), QB Studios, 235–237 High Street, Christchurch Central 8011.
We collect and hold the information you give us through the form.

What we collect

About you: your name, email address, and your phone number if you choose
to give it.

About your mahi: your organisation or kaupapa, a website or social link, where the mahi happens, and your answers to the questions about what you’re working on, what you’re seeing, what you’re hoping for and any funding you have in mind.

Your name, email, organisation and what you’re working on are needed to send the form. Everything else is up to you. If you’d rather not use the form, you can email jess@wff.nz instead.

Why we collect it

We use your answers to understand your kaupapa, to see whether there might
be a connection with our mahi, and to get back to you. That reply may come from Jess or Jenn, or from another member of our small team if they’re the right person to talk to.

We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or share your information with anyone outside the Foundation unless you’ve agreed to it or the law requires it.

Who sees it

When you press Send, your answers are emailed to Jess Benson (Operations Lead) and Jenn Chowaniec (General Manager). Other members of the Foundation’s team and trustees may see them if your enquiry goes further.

Two services help us run the form, and they handle your answers only to deliver them to us. Vercel hosts our website. Resend sends the form’s email to our inboxes, and keeps a copy of each email for up to 30 days. These services
store information overseas, including in the United States and Asia.

Your answers on
your own device

While you fill in the form, your answers are saved in your own web browser so you can come back and pick up where you left off. They stay on your device, and we can’t see them until you press Send. Once your enquiry is sent, they’re cleared.
On a shared computer, you can clear them by clearing your browser’s site data.

Counting visits
to the site

To see which pages are useful, we count visits to the site with Vercel Web Analytics. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect anything that identifies you. We only see totals, such as how many people visited a page, which country they were in and what kind of device they used.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to talk with you about your mahi, and then delete it.

Seeing or correcting
your information

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email jess@wff.nz or call 03 940 9475.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
