Christchurch Youth Hub

Christchurch Youth Hub’s transitional housing provides
22 single-bedroom units for young people aged 16–24, managed by Christchurch Methodist Mission. Alongside Rātā Foundation, we committed funding over three years for two youth workers to join the wraparound team, ensuring residents have support for their development alongside a safe place to live.

WFCT support helps Youth Hub to build youth development into its housing approach, connecting the young people who live there with relationships, services and opportunities in a collaborative environment. It recognises that stable housing and support to build confidence, skills and connections go hand in hand.
