Te Poutama Ārahi Rangatahi

Te Ao Mārama is a new whare at Barnardos Aotearoa’s
Te Poutama Ārahi Rangatahi residential therapeutic programme in Ōtautahi. WFCT supported its development, alongside other funders, to give rangatahi and whānau a welcoming space for therapy, learning
and time together outside the secure residence.

The whare strengthens the connections between rangatahi, whānau and the professionals supporting
them, making whānau involvement part of care and transitions home.
